At The Ashton Care Home, we’re proud to offer a wide variety of activities for our residents and their loved ones to enjoy. There are many studies which have shown multiple benefits for residents who take part in our care home activities, overall improving their mental and physical wellbeing. All of our activities can either be done within a group setting, individual or even a little more intensive by going on an outing into our local community. We have a wonderful team of activities coordinators who plan the activities for our residents, taking into account everyones interests and dislikes, making sure there are tailored activities for all different kinds of interests, hobbies and lifestyles. This also means all activities and events are tailored to cater a selection of interests and abilities, making sure that every resident can engage in stimulating and enjoyable experiences.

Exciting & Engaging Activities For All

At The Ashton Care Home, we understand the power of creating stimulating activities for our residents and their wellbeing. As mentioned briefly above, we have a team of activity coordinators who put together a weekly programme with a range of exciting and engaging activities for all to join in on. From sensory activities which are both engaging and beneficial, especially for our dementia residents, to seasonal activities such as Pancake Day, where our residents can get involved with a bit of baking. All activities we put on for our residents are enjoyable yet also foster social interaction, creating an uplifting and lively atmosphere. Our team here at The Ashton is dedicated to providing stimulating activities to help our residents stay active, engaged and connected.

Activities For Everyone

Our team are here to cater to a variety of interests for those of all ages and abilities, whether thats for residents with restricted mobility, dementia or those who require assistance with daily responsibilities. Our activities programme is thoughtfully designed to be engaging and inclusive, from arts and crafts, bingo and games night to flower arranging and even pet therapy; we want to make sure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
