Ladies and Gentlemen Tuesdays at The Ashton

At The Ashton Care Home, we open up our hair salon every Tuesday for residents to receive a pamper and get the opportunity to kick their feet back. We believe that residing in a care home doesn’t stop anyone from wanting to feel good so a weekly trip to the hair salon is always something for the ladies and gentlemen to look forward to. When residents are waiting for their turn, we always offer a glass of fizz to start their pamper off the right way.

Following the hair salon trips, we turn our Tuesday afternoons into nails/hand care for the ladies. The men, however, can be found at our Gentlemen Club where they sit and play cards/dominoes whilst enjoying a beer and some bar snacks. This is great fun for all of our residents and allows them to socialise, feel good and have a bit of fun with those close to them.

At The Ashton, our residents are at the heart of everything we do. Our holistic approach to care means residents can fill their days with the things they enjoy the most, whilst receiving the care and support they deserve. We are looking forward to holding many more pamper days for our residents, and can't wait to show what else they get up to for the rest of the month!
