Celebrating 10 Years of Dedicated Service
The Ashton Care Home recently celebrated a milestone with a heartwarming party for Activities Coordinator, Carole, our longest-serving staff member, marking her 10th anniversary. Carole's journey with The Ashton began in July 2014, even before the home officially opened our doors to the public.
A Decade of Dedication
Carole's warm personality and commitment to the residents have made her a beloved figure at The Ashton. "I love chatting to residents and listening to them talking about their families and their interests, the stories of their childhood and upbringing," Carole shares. Her genuine connection with the residents shines through in her everyday interactions, making her an invaluable part of the care team.
Prior to joining The Ashton, Carole worked in various factories in Hinckley, demonstrating her strong work ethic and dedication to her local community. In her free time, Carole enjoys watching Formula 1 racing, and football, and exploring car boot sales with her family.
A Celebration of Care and Connection
The Ashton hosted a special party in Carole's honour, recognising her ten years of hard work and the exceptional care she provides to residents. The event brought together staff, residents, and family members to celebrate Carole's contributions and express their appreciation for her unwavering dedication.

Carole is cherished by everyone at The Ashton, from the residents she cares for to her colleagues. Her warmth, empathy, and genuine interest in the lives of others have made her an integral part of the home's caring and supportive environment.
